English is an award winning tri-level neighborhood pub and restaurant, located on historic LaSalle Boulevard in River North, Chicago's premier dining and nightlife district.
English’s interior was inspired by the Landmark building in which it is situated and London's infamous private clubs. Signature design elements include walnut flooring, custom ironwork, Victorian wallpaper, handcrafted chandeliers and a collection of large vintage photographs. The menu combines American bistro with old English flair—so you can count on having your favorite British dishes like Fish 'n' Chips and Bangers 'n' Mash, along with contemporary classics such as Mini Burgers, Pub Grub, and hearty main courses.
