This urban neighborhood restaurant has a flair for rustic, soulful Italian cuisine.
The interior is warm, romantic, and cozy with its rich wood floors and Tuscan colors, making it the perfect spot for a great night out. Sicilian born Frances Fiorentino has brought her traditional recipes and given them a contemporary twist. "Authentic Italian, simply prepared" is the motto here. "It's not art food, but rather comfort food for the soul," says Fiorentino. Sit in the beautiful enclosed garden patio for an evening of alfresco dining where you will find yourself surrounded by ivy brick walls and terra cotta pots beneath the piazza-inspired lights. It's a little piece of Italy right on Ashland Avenue.
