Made famous for the "quartinos" of Italian it serves, Quartino offers traditional regional Italian fare on small plates made for sharing.
As a member of the Gibsons family of restaurants, Quartino remains distinct with Italian small plates and a wine list that has a strong Italian presence with worldwide representation. Chef/Partner John Coletta has blended the traditional enoteca and osteria with urban panache to create an authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of downtown Chicago. Salumi, Italian cured meats, and pastas (made in-house) are menu darlings while other traditional menu categories—including Neopolitan pizze, crudi, spuntini caldi, and fonduta—are given a contemporary twist. A weekday watering hole, the bar is lively and great for people-watching and evening appetizers, as is alfresco dining on the front sidewalk in the summertime. Quartino is open for late-night dining-"food 'til 1, wine 'til 2."
