Celebration has never been finer! America's Brewing Company is the restaurant located inside the First Railroad Roundhouse built in America, 1856.
Walter Payton and his partners bought a pile of architectural rubble for $10. Three-hundred-seventy days later they had transformed the rubble into an architectural jewel selected as one of the nation's finest examples of Historic Preservation they called Walter Payton's Roundhouse. Still owned and operated by Walter's original partners Scott and Pam Ascher and his Estate, the facility includes the Brewpub, America’s Brewery, Banquet Facilities, the gRoundhouse Coffee Company, Bar Absinthe, an Open-Air Courtyard for dining and entertainment, America's Club for live bands and stand-up comedy, and the Walter Payton Museum. America’s Brewing Company creates international award-winning beer, along with American regional cuisine which has been featured in top food magazines and culinary books. Adjacent to the Aurora Transportation Center, Walter Payton’s Roundhouse is the very last stop on Metra's commuter line out of Chicago's Union Station.
